RIVERTON SENIOR CENTER: LINE DANCE
Friday Line Dance Session: Every Friday 1-2:00 PM. Join us for fun and exercise, performing the same dances we do during our Monday and Tuesday morning sessions.
Saturday Beginners Line Dance Class: 10-11:00 AM. Doors open at 9:45AM Dancers of any skill level are welcome, but the insturction will be geared for beginners.
Saturday Night Line Dances: Dances are held on the first Saturday of every month from 7-9PM Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of skill level. We will be accepting donations to raise money for a new dance floor.

🌱FREMONT COUNTY MASTER GARDNERS meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday at 5:00 PM at the county extension office, 818 S. Federal in Riverton. Master Gardeners meet monthly to discuss and provide information and advice on the subjects of horticulture, harvesting, food preservation, floriculture, and more. Roundtable discussions include various topics such as plant care, fertilizing, pruning, propagation, watering, pest and weed control, etc. The public is invited to attend (you don't have to be a Master Gardener to attend the meetings)! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! AVENUE OF FLAGS - If there are any organizations that are interested in helping the American Legion put out flags for the Avenue of Flags, please call Commander Nancy Eustice 851-7280 to let us know. We sure would appreciate it!

🐾 WHISKERS & WAGS PET SITTER: Are you looking for someone to look after your Fur-Babies while you are away? Look no further. If you are in the immediate Riverton area, I can feed, and love up your pets for $14 per visit (up to three pets )…$2 for each additional pet.
If you are in the outskirts of town, I will have to charge an additional $5 per visit (Sorry, no visits further than 5 miles out of town, and no overnight stays.)
Also, I am willing to do any additional chores (such as watering plants, etc.) for an additional small agreed-upon price.
A prepaid amount of 50% will be required for anything over two days. Please contact me if I can help make you more at ease while you are away,

CALL FOR COMMISSIONED ART: In collaboration between the Wyoming Arts Council (WAC) and the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), a new call for commissioned artwork is currently open. The 2026 Wyoming Archaeology Awareness Month Poster Call is an open call for regional artists to submit a poster proposal. The selected artist will receive a $6,000 payment, and their artwork will be featured on the Semiquincentennial Wyoming Archaeology Awareness Poster for America's 250th Anniversary.

MEALS ON WHEELS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS! The Riverton Senior Center is in need of reliable volunteers to assist with our Meals on Wheels program. We are looking for caring individuals to help deliver meals to individuals on one of our three routes within the city limits. This would be a 2-hour commitment for one day a week from about 10am-noon. We have some days covered already, but still need some assistance. Please join us in helping others in our community!
