On September 11th, we climb to remember.
Join us at the Riverton High School Bleachers as we take on 110 stories — 2,200+ steps in honor of the lives lost on September 11, 2001 and the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.
Come at 6:30 AM
At 6:46 AM Mountain Time, the time the North Tower was struck, we will come together for a moment of silence and prayer.
Immediately following, the climb begins.

BRING YOUR OWN WEIGHT — AND GIVE IT A PURPOSE
Carrying weight is completely optional. If you choose to carry something, make the weight mean something to you.
• 9.11 lbs — representing September 11
• 11 lbs — representing the day that changed our nation
• 25 lbs — representing 25 years since September 11, 2001
• Gear or a weighted backpack — in recognition of the firefighters and first responders who climbed carrying heavy equipment
• A weight meaningful to you — representing a person, sacrifice, burden, or reason you personally choose to carry
You don't have to carry anything to participate. The purpose isn't to see who can carry the most. The weight is there to give your climb meaning.
Climb all 110 stories, climb what you can, or simply come stand with us in remembrance.
This isn't about who is the fastest.
It isn't about who is the strongest.
It's about remembering why we're climbing.
We climb for the 2,977 lives lost.
We climb for the firefighters, police officers, EMTs and ordinary people who became heroes that morning.
We climb for the families who carried the loss long after that day.
We climb because we will never forget.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
110 stories. 2,200+ steps. 25 years later. One promise: NEVER FORGET.
Please share and invite anyone who would like to climb alongside us.
