Some important information for the 2026 election cycle:
1) Changes to the postal service mean that dropping your ballot in the mailbox on a given day does not guarantee that date will match the postmark given. Your mail in ballots will need to be sent with plenty of time for the proper postmark!
2) Remember that in Wyoming, you must declare your party registration before the primary filing date opens - you cannot change your party affiliation once those filings begin.
Key information about your ability to participate in the primary election:
Republicans can only vote for Republican candidates and nonpartisan offices
Democrats can only vote for Democrats and nonpartisan offices
Unaffiliated or other party registration can only vote for candidates filing under that designation and nonpartisan offices
If no candidate party matches your registered party, you cannot vote for that office in the primary election
VOTER REGISTRATION IS PURGED BETWEEN ELECTION CYCLES IF YOU MISS VOTING IN AN ELECTION. CHECK TO BE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE!
