Riverton Museum: Save the Date! 2024 Riverton Museum Pumpkin Trail - Saturday, October 19

Hello!
Fall is here! That means we at the Riverton Museum are already thinking about our annual Pumpkin Trail on October 19!
We are reaching out to begin our annual request for carved pumpkins!
Businesses who carve pumpkins for the event will be featured on a sponsor poster that will be displayed prominently at the event. Guests can vote for their favorite pumpkin, and the winners will be featured on the Riverton Museum's social media pages!
Please RSVP by October 1 to let us know if you will be donating a carved pumpkin for the contest this year. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Thank you for your support for this fun community event, we can’t do it without you!

National Night Out Update: Next Planning Meeting is Tuesday, July 9

We have found someone to help us do face painting, cornhole boards to use and may be purchasing a radar gun for the baseball throw. (Thank you!!)

Talks were discussed about doing a friendly booth decorating contest- red, white and blue will be the “theme/ colors” if you would like to join. (you do not have to of course).

We are still looking for donations for prizes for the booths (gift cards, toys, drawing items, etc.), some canopies to use for the event, and of course looking for food/beverage items as well (hot dogs, buns, chips, condiments, bottled water, napkins, ice, baked goods for the cake walk, etc).

If you would like to help either with booths (or just help with anything else we may need), would like to have a booth (game or informational), donate any items, or know anyone that would, please let us know or send them our way.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 @ 4:30pm in the council chambers at city hall. If you are unable to attend, of course I will send out an update to go over anything discussed/ needed.

We appreciate all the help!

National Night Out Planning Meeting: Tuesday, June 18, 2024

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 @ 4:30pm in the council chambers at city hall. If you are unable to attend, I will send out another email next week to go over anything discussed/ needed.

So far this week, we are working on getting volunteers for booths, or anyone that would like to have a booth (game or informational), any donations for prizes (gift cards, toys, drawing items, etc.) and of course looking for food/beverage items as well (hot dogs, buns, chips, condiments, bottled water, napkins, hot dog trays, ice, etc).

We have not had any luck yet with finding anyone to do face painting, Cindy has reached out to someone but she has not gotten back to us. We are also looking for canopies, cornhole boards to do that booth again (adults enjoy that one more than the kids), and also a baseball speed gun. If you, or you know anyone that would like to volunteer for a booth (or have their own), or would like to donate anything, please let me know or send them our way J
