Girls in Grades K-12 and Their Families are Invited to Learn about Girl Scouts in Fremont County

Riverton, WY—February 10, 2026—Girls and adults in Fremont County are invited to discover the fun, friendship, and confidence-building opportunities of Girl Scouts. There are two opportunities to come and learn about Girl Scouts:

  • February 12 from 3:30-5:00pm at Wind River Rec Center: 424 S. Main, Pavillion
  • February 13 from 3:30-5:30pm at Riverton Branch Library: 1330 W. Park Ave, Riverton
This welcoming, hands-on event is designed for both girls interested in joining Girl Scouts and adults curious about volunteering. Girls will experience what a real Girl Scout meeting is like by taking part in an engaging STEM craft, while adults learn more about the Girl Scout program, the many ways to volunteer, and how to support a troop.
The event offers families a chance to explore, ask questions, and see firsthand how Girl Scouts helps build confidence, curiosity, leadership skills, and a strong sense of community, for both girls and adults.
No prior experience with Girl Scouts is needed, and all interested families are encouraged to attend.
Do you have questions? Contact Susan Bronson by emailing susanb@gsmw.org or call 406-743-9340.
