Take the Survey! City of Riverton Indoor Multi-sport Facilitiy - Deadline is March 23

Thank you to everyone in the community who took the time to complete our survey. Your feedback is invaluable as we plan for the future of the multi-sport indoor complex!

The City of Riverton is exploring the possibility of building an indoor multi-sport facility, and we want YOU to help shape this project! Take our 5-10 minute survey to share your thoughts on what amenities would best serve you and your family’s recreational needs:

Whether it's an ice rink, sports turf, jogging track, or other options, your feedback will help us create a sustainable, long-term solution that works for everyone.
Your input matters! The city is centralizing efforts, using grant funds to work with experts, and we want to ensure we balance community needs with available resources. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way!

A SWEET SIGN OF SPRING: Girl Scout Cookie Booths Begin Soon!

Easily locate nearby cookie booths with your zip code!

Billings, MT—March 14, 2025—Girl Scout Cookie season is a highly anticipated time of year for Montana and Wyoming residents. During this annual event, Girl Scouts unbox their future through the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls.

If you missed pre-ordering your favorite Girl Scout cookies, you can still indulge in your favorite treat by supporting girls at Cookie Booths beginning Friday, March 21. When you support Girl Scouts, you help girls flex their entrepreneurial muscles and acquire important life skills like goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

From local grocery to large box stores, Girl Scout troops will hold booth sales March 21 through April 13. Customers can find exact locations, dates, and times by visiting

www.gsmw.org/findcookies. Simply enter your zip code to find a booth nearest to you.

Girl Scout troops will feature up to nine varieties at their Cookie Booths this year: Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Trefoils, Adventurefuls,

 Lemonades, Toast-Yay!, and gluten/allergen free Caramel Chocolate Chip. The Caramel Chocolate Chip may not be available at all booths and this will be the last year to stock up on Toast-Yay! Cookies will sell for $6 per package with the exception of the Caramel

 Chocolate Chip, which will sell for $7 per package.

Customers may also participate in the Care to Share program. Purchase a package or two from your local Girl Scout troop and they will donate them to their local hometown heroes, food banks, service organizations, and much more.

If Cookie Booths are not available in your community, you can still support local Girl Scouts by purchasing online.

Visit www.gsmw.org/findcookie to find a troop in your community, or support Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming’s outreach troops, which benefit underserved girls.

All of the net revenue raised through the Girl Scout Cookie Program—every penny after the baker is paid—stays with the local council and troops. Girl Scout troops set goals for how to spend their proceeds on program-related activities including travel, camp, service projects, and much more.

For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts and their enthusiastic supporters have helped ensure the success of the iconic annual cookie program—and they’ve had fun, developed valuable life skills and made their communities a better place every step of the way.

Riverton Aquatic Center: Punch Cards or Memberships?

Punch Cards Vs Memberships?

We have been getting a few questions of what the differences are. So here are a few benefits and disadvantages of both.
When you purchase a punch card you are paying for 25 visits at a discount. You recieve a paper card that you bring with you every time you visit. The discount is good for one year from date of purchase. We take one punch per person each time you visit.
Adults = $60
Students = $40 (K-12grade)
Seniors = $40 (55 and up)
Family = $65
Benefits - discounted price, up to 365 days to use, you can use for as many people as you would like as long as they are within the same demographic as the punch card. Family cards can be beneficial if you have adults, students, and seniors that use the card.
Disadvantage - you have to keep track of the card, If you lose the card there is no way to replace it, and there are only 25 punches per card.
Memberships are offered for everyone and in several different lengths, they are good for the time period that you purchase for. The RAC staff keep track of the expiration date. They are only good for the person who purchases the membership or for up to 7 listed members on the Family membership.
$20-$540 depending on demographic and length (Student, Adult, Senior, Month, 3 month, 6 month or Year)
Benefits - no card to keep track of, you can visit as many times as you would like within the length of purchase, 38-40% discount (a monthly membership pays for itself in about 10 visits)
Disadvantage - little more pricey than punch cards if you do not use it, and can not be shared.
